Anthony Barraza grew up in the Milwaukee area with an older Deaf brother. With this early introduction to sign language in a Spanish-speaking household, Anthony’s career was set in stone. He worked as a professional sign language interpreter for the next 25 years.July 13th, 2020 was like any other day, he was in good spirits and working as normal as Covid had made us feel! July 14th his world changed forevermore as his illness eventually slipped him into Coma for five weeks. After almost a year of battling himself back to normal amidst family turmoil and confusion, he has learned many lessons. Those lessons he hopes to impart on those who feel like he did, invincible.
